This 1920s-Themed Vow Renewal Included a Jazz Band, Guest Surprises, & Iconic Disney Details

Let’s set the scene: a jazz band croons in the background as you enjoy a delicious cocktail, walking through an immersive experience that transports you from the golden age to the Haunted Mansion. That is what Steve & Caroline brought to life for their guests, giving them “the most grand possible” experience to celebrate how far they’ve come in their 20 years of marriage - & the Disney Weddings team stepped up to the task to help bring their vision to life!

These high school sweethearts with a love for the Disney Parks tied the knot 20 years ago, and when they were planning their vow renewal, knew they “wanted to do it right this time.” Steve shared “Caroline's family has always made visiting [Walt Disney World] a priority. She introduced me to [Walt Disney World] in 2003 and I never looked back.” As a welcome to their guests, the night before the ceremony, they enjoyed Luminous: The Symphony of Us at EPCOT during a dessert party.

Their venue of choice: Disney’s Wedding Pavilion, the crown jewel venue at Walt Disney World Resort. The space was transformed with a bold & bright red & gold color scheme that threaded through their full vow renewal experience. After celebrating their commitment to each other, alongside their children, they made sure to take a group photo with their guests underneath the Walt Disney World resort monorail and flanked by their car collection.

Guests headed to Disney’s Yacht Club Resort for an unforgettable celebration complete with custom signage, a jazz band performance, and banquet style seating that allowed for mingling and brought a cozy feel to the space.

A custom popcorn action station gave guests a fun Disney inspired snack to enjoy as they explored more of Steve & Caroline’s favorite Disney details – including a room dedicated to the Haunted Mansion & meet & greets with beloved Disney characters.

As a final toast, the couple surprised their guests with a dessert party & attraction mix in on the Tower of Terror at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. “Hollywood Studios… was the PERFECT venue to end our 1920's-themed two-day shenanigans.”
