After a magical proposal at the Disneyland Resort (on Dapper Day!), these college sweethearts decided to celebrate their next romantic milestone moment with Disney’s Fairy Tale Weddings.
Juliet shared that “The detail oriented theming and immersive storytelling [of the Disney parks] has never stopped dazzling me. Once I discovered I could have a wedding set inside that magic, I knew there was no other option for us.”
Juliet and Corey chose Rose Court Garden at the Disneyland Hotel to host their ceremony followed by a beautiful reception inside the Sleeping Beauty Pavilion. Their day started getting ready in the Disneyland Hotel and an intimate first look with Juliet’s Dad at the resort, that still has us emotional!
Juliet and Corey love the city of New Orleans with its unique style and flair! They have family ties and history with the eclectic city and Juliet’s favorite movie is The Princess and the Frog. So, when came time to decide on a vision for their wedding it “was natural” to find inspiration from the Mardi Gras holiday.
Our Disney Weddings team worked with them and their vision to create a wedding experience that matched their unique fairy tale.

“I have very little background in type of flowers and colors, so most of the choices were recommendations from the amazing floral team! I communicated the style I wanted, with lots of New Orleans and bayou inspiration, and picked the purple tones I liked. After that, the team produced floral designs beyond what I could have hoped for.”
Juliet and Corey incorporated their Mardi Gras vision throughout their wedding day. “We channeled a Mardi Gras Ball when pick our jewel tone color scheme. Our wedding cake is inspired by the French Quarter architecture, with Swarovski stars representing Ray and Evangeline over top of the “city”. Our wedding favors consisted of Parasols to block the sun, Mardi Gras beads to dance in, and special handkerchiefs to twirl as we walked out of the ceremony.”

They chose to incorporate the Main Street Fire Engine into their ceremony procession! Aside from just a fun photo-op, the vehicle resonated nostalgia and sentimental value to the bride.
“My favorite thing was having the main street fire engine drive me to and from the ceremony! The Disneyland park is my favorite place, so having a little piece of it with us for our ceremony was amazing. It also led to some of the most fun pictures with our bridal party! As a bonus, now when we go into the park and see... the fire engine, it reminds us both of our special day.”
