Sharra and Darin first met in middle school, but it wasn't until after high school that their friendship developed into something new. Their first big trip as a couple was to Walt Disney World, which started a tradition for the years to come. When it came time to propose, Darin started planning it for their vacation to the park. He ordered a custom ring, asked for her parent's permission, and successful hid the ring in his suitcase. They had a reservation for California Grill at Disney's Contemporary Resort, which is where he got down on one knee and asked Sharra to be his wife!
During every trip to Walt Disney World, Sharra would stare at Disney's Wedding Pavilion, knowing that was where she wanted to get married one day. She shared, "I was lucky that I married someone who shares in my love for Disney!" The couple exchanged their vows at this fabulous venue and then celebrated in the St. Augustine Ballroom at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort! They described their wedding in two words: perfect and magical. Their team was able to capture their vision and make it all come to life. The couple said, "Since we couldn't have our dogs there, we had our favorite Disney dog, Pluto, come and celebrate on their behalf!" A favorite moment was tough to pick, but they both loved their "first look." Sharra and Darin's advice to future couples: "Relax and enjoy the ride!"
