This grassy refuge takes its name from the Hawaiian word for a "quiet, lush, vegetated opening" and provides the perfect opening to the rest of your evening.
COCKTAILS WITH CLOSE FRIENDS AND FAMILY
Adjacent to the Aulani Convention Center, the rectangular Kipuka Lawn offers a relaxing garden setting cloistered in greenery and serenity, ideal for a cocktail reception following your ceremony.
- A colonnade of palm trees down one side and potted shrubs and a covered veranda on the opposite side lend natural beauty and a degree of seclusion to your event. Your guests are welcome to mingle on the veranda as well.
- Conveniently located outside our ballrooms, the lawn allows guests to enjoy balmy evening breezes, hors d'oeuvres, cocktails and conversation before going inside for a sit-down dinner reception.
- For the comfort of Resort Guests, events held on the Kipuka Lawn have a mandatory 10:00 PM end time, as with all of our venues. The bar can be kept open until this time if you wish, allowing your guests to continue to enjoy the outdoor atmosphere during your reception.
