Jamie and Jonathan grew up in the same town and even went to the same high school, but it wasn't until years after graduation that they connected through mutual friends. They describe their relationship as yin and yang - opposites that complement each other in every way. Jonathan shared, "In areas where I'm weak, Jamie is strong and vice versa." In Jamie's words, "He makes me a better person and want to do better each and every day."

With the help of family and friends, Jonathan pulled off a surprise proposal in a beautiful park in Hawai'i. The two went to watch the sunset and found a pathway of flower petals. As they walked down the aisle of petals, they saw framed pictures of their relationship through the years. When they reached the end, music started playing and Jamie turned to see her cousins playing guitar and violin, which is when Jonathan dropped to one knee!

The couple knew they wanted an intimate wedding but weren't sure where. The first thing out of Jonathan's mouth was "Disneyland!" and the decision was made. They had both been Disney fans their whole lives and had actually celebrated their first anniversary in the park, so it seemed perfectly fitting. Jamie and Jonathan chose an Escape wedding with a ceremony at Parkview Terrace and celebration in one of the ballrooms at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa. "Our wedding was small, intimate, and romantic. It was beautiful! Everything turned out better than we expected - everything that we could've ever imagined in our heads was better. I couldn't stop crying the entire day!"

They both chose the first look as their favorite moment since it was a private and special time that helped ease the jitters. In terms of advice for future couples, Jamie says, "Trust your Disney team...trust them entirely. You can, you should. You will not regret it one bit. Let them create the perfect day for you."
